Maria and Christian are amazing and they were super helpful and accommodating to our needs. Absolutely recommend!

Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area. It features an outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical garden. Small, intimate, private. Great areas to relax, play crib, refresh in the pool and read. So clean and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Loved being in a quiet neighborhood. Also the staff were so helpful and cheerful. We felt so welcome.

The kitchen is spotless clean and well equipped. Secure parking is available. Nice and quiet beach is within 10 minutes drive. The terrace offered a stunning view of the ocean, serving as the perfect backdrop for our mornings and evenings. The host family is super helpful, friendly, and discreet, responding immediately to all our questions and requests (leaving nearby) We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to return!

Note: during my stay I was the only guest of the hotel. The location is what makes this hotel great. Next to the beach, which is beautiful and very quiet with most of the time only a few.fishermen. I wish I would never have to leave. Bring your own food and drinks because there are almost no restaurants or shops around the hotel. You can use the communal kitchen, which is well stocked with all the amenities you need to cook a meal. The breakfast that was made every morning was really plentiful, for me even enough to also cover lunch. Everything was also really delicious! Don't expect luxury, the rooms are pretty basic and have only cold showers (which is fine because it isn't that cold). I didn't have issues with mosquitoes. The ceiling fan just ran 24/7 and kept them out I guess.

What an incredible, laid back and relaxing place to spend your days on this side of Costa Rica. Lieke and Michael have managed to create a jungle-like oasis where I felt completely immersed in the natural environment on Guanacaste. Hearing the birds, monkeys and the ocean whilst lounging by the pool with a great restaurant and bar to the side made for the most relaxing getaway. The breakfast is superb and the staff is extremely friendly and diligent. Lieke and Michael were also extremely helpful in answering any questions and stopping by for a casual chat (given that solo travel can get lonely!). The atmosphere at Mundo Milo is so laid back that I didn’t once feel out of place sitting on my own, having a drink or reading my book!

This tiny house was just amazing. Very well equipped and lovely decorated. Great mountain view and even a built-in stargazing net where you can enjoy the sunset and the night sky. We absolutely loved this stay!

From arrival to departure, everything to perfection. The owners are very nice and make sure you have everything you need. The food in the evening and the breakfast were both very good. The lodges themselves are stunning and very clean with an amazing view. I would recommend this place to everyone, its amazing. Wish I stayed longer. Note: if you go by car, don’t trust google maps, it will guide you offroad. Its nice but you need both an adventurous mindset and an 4x4, don’t try it without both of them or you might run into trouble (e.g. get stuck). There is a proper road towards the lodges which is fine, look at the instructions the owners send you or ask them.
