The cottages are as cute as in the pictures, and very clean. It was a bit cold when we were there, so we had the chance of lighting a fire in the fireplace of the room (wood and stuffs to light a fire is provided in the room), which made the evenings extra special. The staff is very welcoming, and the restaurant very good. All in all, a delightful stay!

We loved our stay in this remote haven in the middle of the rain forest, surrounded by amazing hiking trails. It is rustic, but comfortable, and we enjoyed the chance to get to know the other guests. Our guided walks were outstanding and we saw an amazing array of frogs, birds and insects . It may not be for those who seek luxury, but it is definitely for those who seek authenticity. We’ll be back.

Offering an indoor pool and a restaurant, Peace Lodge is located a 1-hour drive from San Jose in Vara Blanca. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. We have no words to describe the magical experience in the Peace lodge. Amazing views, lovely hottub on the terrace as well as an exceptional bathroom. Access to the resort's La Paz Waterfall Garden is included so you even get to enjoy it outside openinghours and the extensive Garden is on itself already worth a visit. Very clean. Good food on multiple locations. Very helpfull staff. Worth its price, for sure.

Loved the outdoor cooking area and we truly felt surrounded by the jungle. Lots of lovely touches within the property- water in a cooler/ fridge/ outdoor cooking area/ helpful booklet on surrounding area and lovely decor. The water stopped working which was not an issue as our hosts resolved the problem immediately we notified them.

Amazing place, house is luxurious and decorated with a good taste. Well equipped. You can feel that the owner has put a lot of heart into this place. Direct access to the river, you can even use kayaks. Nice veranda with hammocks to chill out and a barbecue place. Perfect place for a few days of peace and relax.

The lady working there is amazing. You forgive small issues connected to your stay just because of how nice this lady is. She is in love with her country, the nature and the animal around. My 10 points is to her really. As for accommodation it was good, the breakfast (cooked by the same lady) is great. You stay in the jungle and no one around. You wake up to howling monkeys sitting next to your room around 5-6am. So be ready.
