This lodge was classy, had beautiful bungalows and the lovely lounge area in the middle was very well laid out…..there was ample seating, a refreshing pool and a good breakfast selection as well as drinks & tapas from 3-7pm. and all in a jungle setting. Bryan is a super host too!!!!

Exceptional location and very well equipped house (full kitchen, purified water, mosquito nets, hammocks, swining chairs,,...). Owners and staff are very polite and helpful, especially the laundry service was fantastic. We really enjoyed the daily routine of the animals around us as well as plenty of interesting and relaxing activities to do nearby.

O Playa Negra Guesthouse está localizado em Cahuita, mesmo em frente à praia. Todas as unidades possuem uma área de estar. Wonderful property and owners. A garden oasis. Steps from the beach and a quiet road. 10 min walk to a number of restaurants and good grocery store. We had a cabin and it was wonderful and fully equipped. Great pool, quiet garden, lots of animals. Marise very responsive and offered helpful advice. We’re returning!

Situado a 5 km de Cahuita, na Região de Limon e a 18 km de Puerto Viejo, o Passion Fruit Lodge disponibiliza uma piscina exterior e vistas para o jardim tropical. Cocles fica a 20 km da propriedade. The place is very calm with a beautiful garden. It is well maintained, also you can see multiple species of birds, heard howler monkeys around. The pool area is also great when it’s not raining 😀 It has a parking space. Overall, a perfect place, I would rebook.

Finca Chica offers accommodation in Puerto Viejo. Cahuita is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. This was our favorite place we stayed during our two week trip to Costa Rica. It was great being in the jungle, and having a cozy and private place to relax outside in the evenings. The owner is friendly and speaks decent English. He'll check up on you but also give you your privacy.The villa was clean with a nice fridge and a kitchen stocked with just about anything you would need to cook yourself. The outer porch had a couple of chairs and a hammock to relax in while you listened to nature and caught a fresh breeze. There is a nice grocery store just down the street and a pastry shop closeby for breakfast. The Cocles beach is a short walk away and is the best beach in the area, with several good restaurants and bars to choose from. Puerto Viejo is 3 km away; you can rent a bike nearby or walk it if you want. The first morning the gardner gave us a tour of the grounds and we saw several sloths, a toucan, an iguana, and many other animals. An agouti lived in the trees next to our villa. Decent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed with mosquito net, good wifi. It was nice to be outside the energy of Puerto Viejo but be close to its amenities, and away from the road noise of the main street.
