Very relaxing, nice pool and the breakfast was amazing (in particular the cakes!). The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was peaceful while blending in the jungle.

In my opinion this is the best place you can find in CR generally. Nicest wooden house in just 50 meters from such a beach. Impeccable place multiplied by a super service and attention we were paid by the staff and personally by a co-owner Luis! We would certainly like to return to this place!

Breakfast was always delicious and the chocolate is the best I’ve ever had ☺️ The property is beautiful and maintained with love and devotion to the jungle, the wildlife there and nature. Fernando is very knowledgeable and always open to sharing information about the fauna and flora and wildlife. We loved our stay there.

First of all I don't understand why some guests „criticize” the road here. You are in a jungle and consideration and respect should be given to animals, nature and people. We loved everything… The area, the bungalow and the really good breakfast (I highly recommend the french pancakes). Waking up to the different animal sounds was impressive. The staff was super friendly and every time very helpful. The rooms were also absolutely clean and comfortable with a fantastic view to the jungle. This place is a paradise - Please keep it like that! :) Thank so much for this beautiful experience. We’ll definitely come back (hopefully next year). PURA VIDA 🦥☀️

Exceptional location and very well equipped house (full kitchen, purified water, mosquito nets, hammocks, swining chairs,,...). Owners and staff are very polite and helpful, especially the laundry service was fantastic. We really enjoyed the daily routine of the animals around us as well as plenty of interesting and relaxing activities to do nearby.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Wonderful property and owners. A garden oasis. Steps from the beach and a quiet road. 10 min walk to a number of restaurants and good grocery store. We had a cabin and it was wonderful and fully equipped. Great pool, quiet garden, lots of animals. Marise very responsive and offered helpful advice. We’re returning!

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. So beautiful and calm place. The sounds of nature all day long. I would recommend to have a rented car to explore the surroundings.

The grounds are lovely with plenty of wildlife. We were really lucky as we even saw a sloth in the garden! Our appartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The fact that the hotel is beachfront was a big bonus. We loved going for a morning walk on Playa Grande to watch the sunrise. And finally the hosts, Gianluca and Mia, are wonderfull: very welcoming and they gave us great tips for exploring the area. Would highly reccomend!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. This place - one word: AMAZING! Right in the jungle, many monkeys around, is just spectacular! The garden is simply amazing and the owners very friendly and responsive! The swimming pool was perfect after a long day exploring the area. You probably need a car, so 5min drive to restaurants and supermarket and 10min to Cahuita National Park. I’ll get back 100%, my kids were in love!
