Located between the Caribbean Sea and the canals of Tortuguero National Park, Mawamba Lodge is accessible by boat or plane only. The lodge is fantastic! The staff is really helpful with everything! The location is just perfect. The food was very good as well. I would definitely stay there again!

Featuring an on-site restaurant, All Rankins Lodge is located in Tortuguero, within the National Park. Free Wi-Fi access is available in public areas at this beachfront property. The lodge is located between the river and the ocean, so you get the best of both worlds. The hosts were so accommodating and made all of the reservations for our tours as well as picking us up in La Pavona and shuttling us in the boat back and forth to town. The morning canoe tour with Manuel was our favorite tour so far.

Paisajes del Tortuguero is located in Tortuguero Beach, a common site for turtle hatching. Free WiFi access is available in all areas and Tortuguero National Park is 900 metres away. Located next to the beach, still only 50 m from town, with AC, a large variety of interesting people, great atmosphere. Great staff.

The Evergreen Lodge is located amid Tortuguero National Park, and offers spacious rooms, complimentary meals, free Wi-Fi and massage services. The place is amazing! It’s really special to have a bungalow in the middle of the jungle without any windows (just bug screens). It’s nicely located at the same island as the national park so there are a lot of monkeys and other animals around the rooms. We do recommend the boat tour activity and tortuguero hill tour offered by the hotel. Swimming pool was great!

Fun sitting out on the veranda watching the wildlife (we saw Parrots, Racoons, Frogs toads, spiders). Good variety of food and incredible early morning safari and turtle watching tours.
