Whether it was the comfortable accommodations, the peaceful surroundings, or the thoughtful hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable getaway with an outstanding host who takes care of every little detail, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!

I would definitely stay there again. Everything was clean and in great condition. Beautiful view from on high of the ocean. The workout equipment was nice too since we had a lot of rain while we were there.

We loved our staying at Little Escape and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Mike has done a great job with lofts, the design is really beautiful and modern. The open space is perfect for having dinner and relaxing watching TV. Loved the upstairs too, from the balcony you have the jungle vibe. The pool is also a nice feature, for those lazy days. Mike is super friendly, he will help you in any way he can and he know well the area either for surf spots, cafes or restaurants.

Everything was wonderful, we were in Costa Rica for 5 weeks and this was the best place so far. If I ever go back to Costa Rica I would definitely stay here again.

Staying at La Muñequita Lodge is so much more than just somewhere to sleep. It´s like entering a new, exciting, relaxing, friendly world - with a lot of animals, exotic trees and flowers. The hosts are superfriendly and helpful. The house was spectacular. Basic in one way, but exclusive in another. One detail is that I really loved the wooden floor. So soft for your bare feet. Delicious breakfast and dinner. It was very interesting to hear the hosts history of how they ended up here, and take part of their future plans for their small business. We could safely park our rental car here while we spent three days in Drake Bay. It felt much better than park it by the harbour. The hosts really have big hearts and you leave with a better belief for the humanity. I can strongly recommend to stay here. I will be jealous of everyone of you that will.

This is like luxury camping, where the place is a mix between a tent and an apartment. We had a nice view of the mountains, which we enjoyed from our terrace with a hammock, and we cooked on the gas stove. It was so peaceful. My biggest fear was sleeping without air conditioning, but we slept well. The beds are comfortable, and the fan and fresh air were sufficient for good sleep.
