Rainbow Valley Lodge has exceeded expectations and was really magical place to stay. Location and the view are just fantastic. Staff is very helpful. Room was very comfortable and very clean. We got so many amazing recommendations and really didn't want to leave this magic place.

Carlos carlos carlos...he is as amazing host as the place! We love them all the same.. and also his wife Elena. If you don't stay here you're missing out on life! We didn't want to leave this place. Oh by the way the food was also lovely. He knows what is spicy what you ask him what is spicy! Don't go without the argentina pizza and cas juice! One of our best accommodation out of 100s of countries! Pura Vida!

The accommodation is beautiful, situated high on a hill with the most breathtaking view. Ricardo, the owner, puts a lot of love into the property and it is very well maintained. He has gardeners come in everyday for maintenance and the villas are cleaned daily. The villa itself is clean, lots of light and has everything you need. Large king sized bed thats comfortable, chairs to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view, the kitchen is decently equipped. You could hear howler monkeys in the morning which was really cool! The pool area is gorgeous, a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset after a long day. Lots of parking area. If you want beautiful views, then expect to drive uphill on some windy roads to get to this accommodation. It only takes a few minutes and is a two way street so it should in no way defer you from staying here. The road is mainly paved. To access the villas you need a key to the gate which is some added security. If you want peaceful tranquility in a beautiful villa and sorroundings, this is for you!

Beautiful location on a hillside with beautiful views. Excellent facilities, e.g. woodburner for chilly evenings, lots of kitchen equipment (blender was great for smoothies). The owner's aunt living next door was very helpful too

We absolutely loved it ! If you're staying at La Muñequita Lodge, you are not just booking a random place to sleep : you are experiencing probably the most authentic and amazing experience in Costa Rica ! You'll be sleeping in a wooden caban, handmade, opened so you'll be litteraly sleeping amoung the flowers, the trees, the birds (red macaws, toucan...) ! Dont worry tho, there's light, fresh water, toilets, a great shower and everything you need ! It's an enchanted garden where you have all the privaty and the calm you'll need ! The hosts are the nicest : they'll be giving you a tour of the farm, you'll be casually learning about local trees, fruits, eating fresh tropical fruits directly from the trees, you'll meet the cows, goats and their babies : if you're lucky enough as we were, you'll be milking the goats, feeding the babies ! Such a precious, magical and unforgettable moment for us... For the dinner, if you want it, they'll cook for you a delicious, consistent local meal, wich you'll be eating at their table, meeting the others tourists : such a precious moment too ! For the breakfast : traditional coffee, pancakes with syrup or if you are not tired of it : pinto gallo :) The pancakes were just delicious ! There are 3 tree houses. Initially I was disappointed because our tree house was overlooking the car park. However, the car park only ever had the maximum of 3 cars so it’s not an issue. Inside we turned the armchairs around to face the trees. Within a few minutes of settling in 2 beautiful birds flew down and perched on the branches of the trees right in front of us. The coatis took more time to visit but they really put on a show. We really didn’t know what to expect from a treehouse but the house was really comfy and the bed was high enough so we could see the trees while lying in bed. we had a brilliant time. Edwin gave us lots of good tips about where to eat and places to visit which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend the experience.
