Starlight Inn is the ideal place to start the Quilotoa hike. Located just outside Sigchos the hostel provides excellent vistas of the surrounding countryside and is as charming during the sunset as it is at dawn. Billiard, board games, and a llama all included!

Real fire in room was a treat! Good quality, homemade food. Loads of animals including friendly dogs. Reception/dining area reminded me of a cosy English country pub. The hosts organised a guide at short notice to take us to Cotopaxi.

Located on the foothill of Chimborazo Volcano, Chimborazo Lodge offers rooms with heating in Chimborazo Natural reserve. There is a restaurant, and free parking is provided. Riobamba is 36 km away. This place is just pure magic. From the privilege of being alone, to the position at the feet of the beautiful Chimborazo, to the beautiful animals that you can see by just getting out of your room. In 25 days of traveling across Ecuador it was definitely one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we stayed and it was for sure absolutely the best place during our 11 days of travels in the Andes. Special thanks to the staff for being so friendly and professional at the same time. The food was always amazing and really healthy.

Owner is very helpful and nice. Breakfast was large and tasty. Place od located in nice, quiet location, but it's not far from restaurants and shops (15 minutes walk)

It is a perfect getaway in Andes, very authentic place surrounded by endless mountains. Restaurant serves delicious Andean food, staff members are very friendly and helpful! It is a perfect stay for hikers and climbers who are willing to spend several days in Cotopaxi valley. The sky at night…. Unbelievable! They have a very good wifi, rooms are big and clean, hot water. Stove works perfectly well - I left it on for a couple of hours, and warmed my room for the whole night. Several blankets. All cabins have a wonderful view of the mountains. I highly recommend!!

Runa Wasi Quilotoa offers accommodation in Quilotoa. Latacunga is 72 km away. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Meals were fine. Clean room with fireplace (great for cold nights). Staff was friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff made me an off-menu meal at my request, fair price. Pet llamas (won't let you pet them, but you shouldn't anyway) add to charm. Main house's antiques add to B&B charm. Stayed here on day one of two-day Cotopaxi/Quilotoa tour. My tour operator recommended this place and dropped me off and picked me up here. Very quiet, great place to stay if you are visiting Cotopaxi and not returning to Quito for the night.
