Victor and his family were so kind and welcoming. I arrived to a lovely fire and within a few minutes of arriving had a meal ready for me. Breakfast was a huge meal and prices for the lunch is really good. It was such a nice place with beautiful view, so quiet and peaceful and right next to the start of the quilotoa loop trek.

It's one of my nicest accommodations on my whole 5 month trip in South America so far. You can totally relax after a long day of hiking. The common areas are very welcoming. You have free tea and coffee the whole day, and also free yoga classes. And for a small fee you can use the wellness area. The food is very delicious. To spend the evening next to the fireplace is amazing.

With mountain views, Hacienda El Rejo is located in Machachi and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground.

Me and my mum stayed here for one night and it was a perfect stay. All of the staff were so lovely, the views were breathtaking & the food was incredible (although the prices are slightly higher than we’ve found elsewhere in Ecuador it was so worth it for the quality & taste & big portions). Such an amazing night in the countryside with lots of things to do, thank you!

This property was a stunning location to have as a base for my partner and I to explore Quito! It is so central and only a short fifteen minute drive to the main historic centre. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a two minute walk that will cater to anyone’s food interests. The property itself was luxury to say the least and it felt as though we were staying in a presidential suite! The owners are a lovely couple and were so hospitable to us, welcoming us into the home with open arms as soon as we arrived. They did not hesitate to help us with our queries on what to do and gave us excellent recommendations that turned out to be immensely beneficial to the activities we took part in. Our bedroom was comfortable and they always gave us our own space wherever we were in the house. The views of the surrounding mountains and city were breathtaking also and it was delightful to sit and look out while we planned what we were going to do each day. 10/10 would recommend this stay to anyone. If I ever return I will refuse to stay anywhere else other than the Penthouse Lodge B & B!

Really comfortable, cosy room. Real fire in room was a treat! Good quality, homemade food. Loads of animals including friendly dogs. Reception/dining area reminded me of a cosy English country pub. The hosts organised a guide at short notice to take us to Cotopaxi.

It's like a paradise. Natural and simple, and you can enjoy the magnificence of the Chimborazo Mountains from the closest distance. Friendly staffs. the place without light pollution at night, let us see the amazing galaxy. We love this amazing place. Although my daughter has severe altitude sickness reaction, we have to drive down the mountain overnight.. We used to stay in Riobamba for one night before traveling to higher altitudes, but this time we were too confident. However, we will visit again next time when we are better prepared.
