The spotless apartment was beautifully fitted with everything we needed. The town centre was just a wee walk down to the sea. If we had known how great it was we would have stayed longer.

Waking up looking from the bed to the seas, with sheep and birds making the only sounds felt a privilege. The interior is thoughtfully arranged and stocked with everything we needed, with the outdoor table and hot tub being an added bonus. Helpful and very friendly host who personally looks after everything. Location is ideal to the endless sand beaches of Westport, popular with surfers, to the dunes and golf of Machrihanish and to Campbeltown.

Luss Cottages at Glenview offers self-catering accommodation located in Luss, only a 2-minute walk from the shores of Loch Lomond. A private terrace and barbecue facilities feature in the garden. A very nice cottages, well located in Luss. Very nicely furnished and confortable. Our stay was too short unfortunately 😀

Nestled in 3.5 acres of woodland in Western Scotland, Airdeny Chalets feature self-catering accommodation sitting in a garden with terrace. Free Wi-Fi, free parking and BBQ facilities are available. We stayed a couple of days on a walking holiday. There are a few nice walks in the area, but in general there are not a lot of trails. If you are into walking, check out Fearnoch Forest (access next to Angus' Garden, about a mile up the road), or walk over the ridge and to the beach via Balindore. In the village, there is a very well stocked village grocery shop with the friendliest shopkeeper in the world. Nearest serious walk is Ben Cruachan, but we did not get there. Good public transport to Oban, for a day trip.

Really comfortable and cosy lodge, in an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas. Great facilities within, the wood-burning stove is a real treat and was a lovely place to relax after being out and about. Couldn't fault Hawthorn as a place to stay and would happily do so again.

We went with our two dogs as a birthday trip for myself. Host was courteous, room was clean and cooking equipment provided. It was just the relief I needed after illness at start of the year. Ferry to mull was only 3/4 minutes away. Bed was comfy, wifi provided and host had installed blackout curtains which was greatly apeciated.
