The property was beautifully furnished. It was cosy, warm and comfortable. I booked it for the weekend of my wedding at nearby Southend Barns, and it was the perfect place for me, my Mum and bridesmaids to start getting ready in the morning. Simon was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. He even put a couple of bottles of bubbly in the fridge to help us to celebrate. There was also a very generous welcome basket of food too. The beds were enormous and the whole place was spotless. We will definitely stay again.

The attention to detail and the theme of the lodge was fantastic and eye catching. The location is excellent as there are several bars and restaurants within walking distance. Parking is right outside and you are welcomed by a beautiful private garden. It’s very quiet and extremely clean. Very welcoming and friendly hosts - we will definitely be back x

Will be definitely coming back. At one point did not want to give it high ratings so it doesn't get all booked up and still available when we'll want to head back😅

Yes its compact but exactly as described the beds were really comfortable and the extras provided like tea, coffee, cereal and milk a real bonus. The site was great and easy to find and the property spotless. Great TV and everything we needed for our stay. Easy to use key box and wifi was great too couldnt ask for anything more.

The cabin was in a beautiful setting & had everything we needed and more. We had such a warm greeting from Laura & her family, including a lovely welcome hamper. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it.
