Staying at Liza’s place was truly unforgettable. The beds were so comfortable, and every morning we enjoyed the peace of the beautiful garden with its breathtaking view of the mountains. What really made our stay special were the wonderful owners — so welcoming and attentive. We were greeted with fresh fruits and homemade olive oil, and Maria even treated us to her delicious homemade pastries, which felt like a gift from the heart. The location is perfect for exploring the many beaches nearby, as well as Rethymno and Chania. We felt at home here from the very first moment, and we would love to return again. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Accommodation was as shown on the current pictures and description: very nice venue, new and clean. The contact with the owner was very nice, helpful and fast. Parking was always easy. Beach is directly around. We enjoyed our stay a lot, were happy and would definitely come back and therefore recommend it to everyone.

The peaceful, quiet location made it the perfect spot for a truly relaxing vacation. Watching the stars from the terrace each night was unforgettable, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by Marcos himself made us feel completely at home. His hospitality is unmatched! Marcos truly knows the island and gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, breathtaking beaches, viewpoints, and hidden gems all around Crete. The breakfasts were fantastic, and we especially loved the traditional Greek coffee and the freshly made orange juice he served every morning. We are already counting the days until we can return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic, serene experience in Crete!

Probably the first place where we stayed where the reality exceeds the property photos. This is a gem! Beautiful, tastefully restored little house in a quiet remote village which is really close to Heraklion by car, just in 10 minutes you suddenly find yourself in a different world than the touristy seashore, a piece of traditional, rural Crete. But be aware, you do need a car - which is cheap to rent in Crete anyway. The owners left some tasty local products for us (honey, butter, marmalade, some bakery product, olive oil, even raki!) so we didn't have to care about the first breakfast. There is a place to park just in front of the house which is very convenient. (Don't be shy on the narrow streets that leads there, the car will fit).

All I can say is a huge thank you to my host Lefteris who (literally) went the extra mile to make my stay in this most comfy cave such a memorable and nourishing time.. ....such a welcome change to the usual run of the mill s/c city apartment! Within easy walking distance of all centre amenities, port and public transport tours. Would thoroughly recommend.
