The staff were so kind and friendly and we were given delicious cheese bread snacks on arrival. Our fireplace rooms were beautiful and cosy. Breakfast was nice and convenient. Perfect location for hiking Vikos Gorge and staff kindly organised taxis to bring us back as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The interior of the hotel is amazing, with a kind of scottish atmosphere. The receptionist is extremely helpful and discrete. The room is fantastic, with a very much enjoyed fireplace in winter, a bed out of this world and a perfectly suited furniture. I literally felt out of time.

This is what hospitality really means. Excellent owners, very helpful and kind! The guesthouse is traditional, yet very comfortable. The fireplace inside the room makes all the difference. The bed is comfortable and the room is very clean The breakfast is very tasty and thoughtfully made.

What a pleasure to stay at Guesthouse Iro after a long hard hike through Vikos Gorge. Hot water shower, good quality linen, and traditional lace curtains on our shuttered windows looking out onto the gorgeous Pindus Mountains.
