Very nice hot shower! The room was very comfortable with two fans and many sockets for charging devices. The staff is so amazing and they really make you feel like home. Everyone is very helpful with recommendations and onward travel. They picked me up from my shuttle and dropped me off as well, super nice.

The cabin is very cosy with an incredible view. A great spot for some quiet chill time as well as a good base for Semuc Champey. Remy and Darina are excellent hosts and the home cooked dinners were delicious.

They picked us up from our shuttle when we arrived in Lanquin and took us to the hostel in Semuc Champay. Furthermore they say they don’t have WiFi but they do in the restaurant just not in the rooms.

The reviews don’t lie: David is a legend! Truly had the best day being guided around Semuc Champey by David who grew up exploring the area and knows the best spots to show you. The in-house tienda, shuttle booking and affordable restaurant made our stay so easy and relaxing. So happy to stay with this lovely family!

Excellent value, nice staff, good options for booking tours and shuttles. Remote location but free transport collected us from the shuttle and brought us down again. Restaurant had good options, room was spacious and clean. Great to have a pool as well!

It’s a centrally located hotel, suitable for a couple of nights. The staff were really kind and helpful, they even managed to get a last minute shuttle for me.

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! The rooms was clean and comfortable, the bathroom too. The hosts were so helpful, offering tuktuks and shuttles, always helping us with information. There is a mini store on site and restaurant which was very well priced with lovely food. We loved everything!

Location is good, walking distance to Semuc Champey. Helped us organize a guide to the caves and the pools. Free pick up from the gas station where the shuttle dropped us off.

The experience at Remy and Darina's was special and perfect! The photos do not reflect the beautiful view from the cabin and its special location. Remy and Darina make sure that your experience will be not less than amazing, they help with everything you want: Shuttles, tours, explanation of the village, etc.. and of course the food they cook at a very, very high level! We were there for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and it was very hard for us to leave. Truly this is the most magical place we've spent time in!
