The owner was super nice, letting us arrive early and making sure we felt comfortable at the bungalows (we rented two, one for our family and a second for some friends to join us on our way to Plitvice Lakes). It was spectacularly clean, well equipped, and furnished with high end quality furniture and adornments. The Jacuzzi was brand new and spotless, with the best possible view..we loved the lodging and are already planning to return in the near future.

There is a barbecue and firewood, as well as a trampoline and a playground with swings. There is a jacuzzi in the yard, but we did not use it, as we had a tight schedule. Inside the house everything is very clean, with pleasant lighting. On the terrace there is a table for tea and my favorite cocoon chair. I will also add that the location is excellent, 15 minutes drive from the Plitvi lakes

Perfect spot for launching off to the park with plenty of information available to help you plan ahead. Was the perfect little stay. The host also recommended Plitvice Lodge for dinner which was a good shout, very entertaining, filling meal by the fireside.

Our family of 4 (kids are 12 & 14) are wrapping up 7 months of travel. After 45 different stops along the way, I will say that Hedgehog’s place is AMAZING IN EVERY WAY! What an incredible escape from the busy cities that are also awesome in their own way to a simpler time. The scenery is beautiful, then layer in the myriad of animals (sheep, wild boar, pony’s, highland cows, etc), and top it off with one of the coolest cabins that I’ve ever seen. The cabin foundation is 100+ years old, but the renovations provide all the modern comforts desired. Lastly, the little extras and finishing touches take it over the top.

This recently renovated apartment is located 15 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 2 and 18 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the garden and inner courtyard. We loved everything about this beautiful property. We had 3 studios and the main house for our group of 9 and it was so spacious and well equipped that we had everything we needed. The garden is a lovely space to relax after a few hours walking in the lakes. The hostess is a real gem. She made us feel very welcome and gave us some great information about how to make the most of our trip. Wish we had planned to stay longer.
