Paula and Andreas are incredible hosts and took their time to talk us through the story of how Kalma came to be. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and had some great conversations. As for the villa itself, gosh it was stunning. Truly a luxury retreat in nature. The view from our room was gorgeous and the bed was SO comfy. The services were top notch including amazing dinner delivery, delicious breakfast options and relaxing spa sessions. The 360 yoga shala view was stunning for sunrise, don’t miss it!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to stay here again! From Ali and Ihaa, thank you for an absolutely wonderful experience

Anya and his family are so kind and welcoming. The food was always delicious and the surroundings are so beautiful. We did the walking tour with Anya and it was great - he knows so many people in the local area so we could stop and help harvest the rice, have local coffee etc. Our stay was my highlight of our time in Indonesia. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The shower is hot. After being in the very hot humid Gili islands we were worried about not having aircon but the temperature in Tetebatu is very nice and cool in the evening. There are also not many mosquitos.

The rooms are big and clean with 2x2m beds. We were sleeping 2 adults and 1 5 years-old kid. The hotel is very quiet with a nice pool practically for you as there are only 6 rooms. The kitchen serves excellent quality food all the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner. We tasted 80% of the plates and they were delicious!! Better than going to Kuta. It's near Kuta but you will need a transport. The are no Grab cars in the area but there's a private driver living near the hotel called Han, really recommended!! Just ask for him in the reception.

We had an amazing stay here, the host were really kind and helpful. They recommended amazing places in the neighbourhood and when we had nothing to do even invited us to do some local drink tasting, very pleasant experience. The view there is really great and the room and bathroom are wel maintained.

Very amazing place, only 4 minutes walking to go to the beautiful beach, enjoy the beautiful beach with beautiful sunset, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and the beauty of the environment surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. I highly recommend this place.

A classic wooden art house, and truly a valuable place to stay. Beautiful view of the rice fields and mountains. Staff are friendly and helpful. Laundry is available on-site, and breakfast is included. Air conditioning works well. Rooms are large, an entire floor to yourself. Relaxing chair or a table with chairs. Location is great, and strategically placed.

The host, Hari was very helpful and accomodating. He is very knowledgeable about the region, speaks perfect english and also organises local tours:) My room was clean and comfortable.
