We had an unforgettable stay at Aranka Tempasan. The huts on the campground were very spacious and comfortable. The accommodation looks out on a beautiful valley of rice fields. What made the stay truly special was the amazing staff. They were all young, local people learning the hospitality trade. They were incredibly professional and friendly. They deeply cared about given their guests the best possible experience. The activities such as a bonfire and bike ride through the town were all great ways to get to know the area and the community.

The rooms are big and clean with 2x2m beds. We were sleeping 2 adults and 1 5 years-old kid. The hotel is very quiet with a nice pool practically for you as there are only 6 rooms. The kitchen serves excellent quality food all the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner. We tasted 80% of the plates and they were delicious!! Better than going to Kuta. It's near Kuta but you will need a transport. The are no Grab cars in the area but there's a private driver living near the hotel called Han, really recommended!! Just ask for him in the reception.

After our Rinjani hike we stopped to ask if we could pay a small fee to take a shower and they let us into one room to clean ourselves. So nice of them! Plus the view of the rice terraces and mountains is so nice!
