Paula and Andreas are incredible hosts and took their time to talk us through the story of how Kalma came to be. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and had some great conversations. As for the villa itself, gosh it was stunning. Truly a luxury retreat in nature. The view from our room was gorgeous and the bed was SO comfy. The services were top notch including amazing dinner delivery, delicious breakfast options and relaxing spa sessions. The 360 yoga shala view was stunning for sunrise, don’t miss it!! We had an unforgettable stay at Aranka Tempasan. The huts on the campground were very spacious and comfortable. The accommodation looks out on a beautiful valley of rice fields. What made the stay truly special was the amazing staff. They were all young, local people learning the hospitality trade. They were incredibly professional and friendly. They deeply cared about given their guests the best possible experience. The activities such as a bonfire and bike ride through the town were all great ways to get to know the area and the community.

I stayed here for 2 nights on either end of my mount Rinjani trek. It was the perfect place to relax, nice and quiet, hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful with everything! The rooms are very nice and comfortable, food was amazing too, and met some lovely people while there, highly recommend :)

The cottages were amazing, with all that is needed inside, a good bed, a good bathroom, a little terrace where to sit and contemplate the views. They have restaurant service that will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner...everything homemade and delicious. But the best of it all was the staff, always eager to help. You can see this is a family-run business that has started with some many ilusions, but people that want to make the best out of it.

Very amazing place, only 4 minutes walking to go to the beautiful beach, enjoy the beautiful beach with beautiful sunset, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and the beauty of the environment surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. I highly recommend this place.

A classic wooden art house, and truly a valuable place to stay. Beautiful view of the rice fields and mountains. Staff are friendly and helpful. Laundry is available on-site, and breakfast is included. Air conditioning works well. Rooms are large, an entire floor to yourself. Relaxing chair or a table with chairs. Location is great, and strategically placed.

The host, Hari was very helpful and accomodating. He is very knowledgeable about the region, speaks perfect english and also organises local tours:) My room was clean and comfortable.
