There are en suite western bathrooms with hot and cold running water - unusual for the area - good beds, fans and power from 6pm to 6am. Food is excellent and quite varied with fish, chicken, vegetables, fruit and more. The staff will make packed lunches on request for all-day trips. Cold beer and soft drinks are available but do bring anything else you want to drink e.g. sugar free soda and tonic water both of which are difficult to source in Papua. The island itself and Friwen village are quiet and peaceful, and pleasant to walk around. The friendly owner will help arrange transport from Sorong airport and various other activities during your stay e.g. snorkeling, birdwatching etc
