Location just fantastic, in the middle of the nature. BUT you should know that it is more or less 20 Min walk/hike trouth the forest form the last area which is accessable by car or bike. So if you have a big luggage it can be taff.

Amazing place, the location is superb in the centre of the picturesque village Bukit Lawang and next to the river! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the food wow.. Furthermore we did the 3 days/2night jungle trek with Andy and Jerry, which was absolutely incredible. The tour was full of insights on the local flora and fauna, accompanied by well organised base camps and great food. We can do nothing but recommend this place! Looking forward to being back, Lara and Stijn!

Book here your jungle trekking (I did the 2 days trekking with one night in the jungle), the experience is really beautiful and the guides Cici, Sam and the owner Uddin are the best. Starting being your guides, they will become your friends! Lovely people and also careful about sustainability. It exceeded my expectations.

The homestay currently consists of three one-room cabins and a small house w/ a compact kitchen. It’s located in a quiet area away from the busy main road. The owner is a very kind elementary school teacher who lives near the homestay with his family. I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.
