The birds in the morning were heavenly. The house was very clean and Ann was extremely generous. We enjoyed our conversations, tea and porter cake. We will hopefully come back one day. Firstly a lovely warm welcome from Carol who had kindly supplied some lovely Christmas goodies and made the cottage warm and welcoming. The well appointed cottage was fabulous with glorious views over the water towards the mountains and a slipway only a few metres away from the kitchen window where it is possible to swim at high water providing you are suitably competent.
