Additional cottages have been added and if you like feeling as if you are in the National park with nature all around, this is the place to be. The bedding was all new and the bed very comfortable indeed. The bath room overlooking the jungle is an additional feature and yes there is enough hot water to fill it! The pool is beautifully kept and the sitting out areas are numerous so you never feel crowded and can move around with the sun to not as you wish! Each cottage has a private terrace so you can be separate too. The food is freshly cooked and my gluten intolerance was expertly catered for. The manager has been an experienced guide in the past so was very aware of all our needs. Taking us for a walk through the lower hills to a reservoir where we could spot many birds which is what we wanted. There are safaris to see leopards which was fun….tigers too are being reintroduced.

Nimit and his wife were so welcoming and made us feel part of the family, even inviting us to join their Ravana Dahan party where Ravana the enemy of Lord Rama is burned in a ritual called Ravana Dahan to symbolize the victory of good over evil - such a fabulous experience! The chef cooked amazing food that we ate under the stars on the dining terrace. Such fabulous memories and can’t wait to return!
