Shiv Shakti is a beautiful place. It is a little off road, which for us is great as it meant a quieter space. Ram and his family were so welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The rooms are clean and comfy, the garden and the hang out space are peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the morning yoga too. This is a great place if you like nature, and quiet mornings to meditate and watch the sunlight slowly fill the valley.

Patanjali International Yoga Foundation is 2.5 km from Atreya Boutique Cottage Near Tapovan, while Himalayan Yog Ashram is 2.5 km from the property. Dehradun Airport is 19 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Quiet location with nice access to the Ganges and Rishikesh.

With mountain views, Hobo Huts by the Riverside is situated in Panuānaula and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, snack bar, garden and children's playground. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. I enjoyed my time at Hobo huts, the host is great to have a conversation with, food was delicious as well. Many things to do around like taking a dip in the river, hike to a waterfall, village walk. There are some cute little puppies there as well. All in all time well spent.
