The Glass house - Northern lights hideout ligger ca. 19 km fra Hallgrímskirkja. Her er balkon, kaffemaskine og bjergudsigt. Dette overnatningssted med aircondition ligger 18 km fra Perlan. The Glass House was a great space for my wife and I to spent the last four nights of our 3-week Iceland trip. It's perfectly setup for two people, with plenty of space to spread out, and located in a small grouping of other summer homes that give the feeling of the peaceful Icelandic countryside while only being a short distance to Reykjavík. The house itself is brand new and extremely clean, with a calm and serene color palette and huge windows for viewing the beautiful forest trees surrounding the property. We both really loved the geothermal hot tub, and spent each night listening to the snipes drumming and loons calling from nearby fields and lakes. Having a washing machine was very convenient, and the wifi was nice and fast (we work while we travel). We had a small issue upon arrival— the host quickly responded within minutes and was very helpful to resolve (even very late at night). I could tell that they care about their guests' experience, which was really appreciated. We visit Iceland often, and definitely plan to book The Glass House again on future trips! TIP: The nearby road (435) is a really fun drive in the summer, as you head toward Þingvallavatn— don't miss it! (I believe it's closed October - May)

19 km fra Hallgrímskirkja og 19 km fra Solfærd ligger Bright cabin close to RVK with a Hot Tub. Her er en terrasse og gratis wi-fi. Bright Cabin was one of my favourite places while in Iceland for accommodation. The cabin was clean, well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was outstanding. The bottle of Preseco and chocolate bar left by the host was a wonderful touch.

Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik ligger ved stranden i Mosfellsbær, kun 36 km fra Thingvellir Nationalpark, og har en have og gratis wi-fi. The quiet location on the lakefront was so peaceful, but still close to Reykjavík, shopping/food options, and activities! We loved having a coffee at the kitchen table and watching the birds and water right outside each morning. The cabin was well equipped for a comfortable stay including kitchen supplies. We also enjoyed the barrel sauna with the equally magnificent view!
