Surrounded by peaceful, empty fields, we loved watching the migrating birds gather just outside. The silence and coziness made it so relaxing. The bed was super comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. But the best part was the hot tub – it was absolutely amazing to soak in it while the chilly air surrounded us. A truly unforgettable, serene getaway!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth — the entire host family welcomed us, which instantly made us feel at home. Inside, the cottage was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with every modern comfort. What truly made the stay special, though, were the personal touches: a handwritten welcome note and a homemade pie called "Happy Marriage" waiting for us on the table — such a sweet and memorable gesture! The location was peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxing and unwinding after exploring the surrounding area, the quality of the cottage itself and the hospitality we received made the experience exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy, modern base in Iceland with hosts who truly care. We'd happily return!
