The houses are beautifully designed with high quality materials and are perfectly heated, making them super cozy and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and the breakfast was simply delicious. The road to get there isn’t the easiest, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. Plus, the sky is dark enough to see the northern lights and we were lucky enough to witness them - an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay.

Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. Isafjordur Airport is 225 km from the property. Loved this place, yes the cabin is very small so we left our suitcases in the car but for the price and location it was one of our best stays on our 16 day ring road trip People mention problems with the hot tub but when we stayed the owner met us and explained how it worked and it was really great. Make sure you visit the turf houses nearby - next to the hotel with a pool in the distance.

The house is a mixture between English cottage and tiny home and offers every convenience you could wish for. It's the lovely details in furniture and accessories that made me instantly feel at home when coming through the front door.
