Walid is truly the best host. He took great care of us during our stay, fed us amazing food, and even showed us to a beautiful trail to hike from his place, following the ridge around the canyon. We loved meeting his sons and wife, and Shadi and Ahmed had us laughing all evening. So nice to have an at-home stay coming from the large unfamiliar hotels in Petra! And truly one of the best dinner and breakfasts we’ve had during our stay in Jordan. I included a picture of the sunset from the house and from the gorgeous trail Walid showed us.

Ramses Tafilah Lodge نزل رمسيس الطفيلة situa-se em Tufailah, a 43 km de Castelo de Shobak, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um terraço e um restaurante. The place is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view that makes you feel like you're sleeping in the open air. We were the only guests there and were treated like royalty. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable, featuring a large bed, a very clean bathroom, a hairdryer, a safe, hot water available at all times, and internet access. We could even park our car right next to the cabins, making it feel like we had a small house to ourselves. They prepared a delicious Lebanese-style dinner for us, served in generous portions. We had an extremely comfortable night and highly recommend visiting the area to enjoy nature walks and the stunning surroundings. I strongly suggest visiting this location, which is situated opposite the Dana Biosphere Reserve and close to the Rose City of Petra.

Amazing location, really unforgettable. Place full of character, perfect for people who are not looking for the 5 stars conforts but for authentic experiences. My girls loved sleeping on the mattresses. Host very helpful, ther was a misunderstanding about the dinner (my fault, I forgot to confirm), nevertheless he managed to provide a rich and amazing dinner.
