Search cabins in Gifu

It was fantastic to come back to an onsen at the end of the day. Regular shuttle bus to train and bus stations was very useful.

The onsen was great, the room very spacious. The breakfast was really good. You have to book it. We checkin after 18.00 and were not able to experience the dinner which we have seen later that it was delicious. We should have booked this in advance. There are many restaurants in the city, they have a free shuttle. The price of the room was pretty expensive even though we booked it two months in advance.

The restaurant is amazing, serving the best food I’ve tasted the whole month I’ve spent in Japan. The rooms are well furnished and overall the hotel is nice. The bus shuttle js concernent.

We stayed here for 1 night during the Takayama Spring Festival , it was one of the few hotels with a room available during this very busy time in Takayama. Turned out to be a great stay. A short walk to Hilda Folk Village. A traditional ryokan with onsen which we tried for the first time and enjoyed the experience. We caught the bus from the city centre to get there. They provided a free shuttle back into Takayama the next morning.

Clean. Well-maintained. Friendly and helpful staff with access to a free shuttle bus down to the bus station. Great location! The view from the kitchen over the surrounding mountains was amazing! An absolute delight having breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at SOY, the hosts Tai & Nobuko made us feel extremely welcomed, Tai was generous and punctual with providing shuttle service to and from town which was great given the location of the house being further away from the city center. The atmosphere of SOY was exceptional, we got to slow down and appreciate our surroundings which gave us the much needed reset to our busy itinerary. We hope the cat Tama is feeling better since we last saw her!

The service of the staff was amazing - extremely attentive and accommodating. The location was great, and the balcony on the river provided a great view. The room was a little old and the balcony sliding door got stuck a few times, but it as otherwise fine. I unfortunately didn't manage to check out the onsen so can't comment on that. They provided a shuttle bus to the train station which is a bonus, but it's also not too far to walk if you have to.

Lovely property with a very comfortable lounge area. Bearing in mind it that some spaces are communal it is very clean. About a 20 min walk from bus station but shuttle is offered.

It’s a simple cabin that has everything you need for a cozy and peaceful stay. I really enjoyed muy time there. Free coffee and tea. Clean, comfortable with a very nice vibe.

Beautiful place with old wooden beams. Super friendly staff and nice attention to detail. A great experience if you set your mind to enjoy, relax and shut out technology and distractions, probably good with a family too. Hot spring was a delight - but maybe consider the private bath if I someone else is in there. Breakfast Is a real banquet of food in a beautiful dining room. The atmosphere is wonderful - have breakfast as early as possible so you are the only one in there.
