We had a wonderful stay and it was the perfect base for us to explore the island. The owner was so helpful with advice about car rental before we arrived. The desserts made with local fruits were delicious and very appreciated after a day of hiking. Loved the private deck and bath. We would definitely stay here again if we come back for a visit!

The Japanese style tatami and cushions in the living room with the heater were very comfortable. Appliances worked great to cook for the two of us and overall a great stay!

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. Ideal location for exploring the Kirishima Mountains. Lovely host.

The houses are very comfortable and well equipped. We absolutely loved Japanese breakfasts. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. My daughter absolutely loved the goat. Apparently it is not a very easy to tame goat but after 2 days and some carrots it licked her hand ;)

Cottage Yakusugi House apresenta vista da montanha, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito em Yakushima, a 11 km de Shiratani Unsuikyo. Beautiful home in a convenient location. Lots of space, fully stocked with everything we needed. We hope to stay here again next time we visit!

Cottage Kutsuroki situa-se a 2,4 km de Praia de Harutahama e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. Located near the bus stop 62 if you don't have a car. Also well located to hike the Arakawa trail, I was able to take the first bus without problems. You can also order bento for the trail the day before if you want to, which is super convenient. Also located near a supermarket and the main town, if you want to buy supplies or eat in a local restaurant. It was super clean and super comfortable.
