Location is everything with this property, which is a beautifully renovated funaya right on the water in Ine fishing village. It's self catering accommodation and we hadn't made any reservations at the small number of local restaurants. However, we found a lovely place right across the road from our house. Our room overlooked the water and despite the wet weather the views were amazing. Our host also arranged a private boat tour of the bay for us, which picked us up from our own jetty! A magical stay. Highly recommend.

The accommodation is roomy and exceptionally comfortable. The area around Ine-Ohara is one of the most beautiful parts of Japan! Highly recommended.

Asobi Lodge ligger i Kyotango, 7 minutters gang fra Kotohikihama Beach og 5 km fra Amino Shrine. Her er gratis wi-fi, aircondition, en have og en terrasse. It was well located, everything was well thought out, Hamish was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was also a very peaceful and relaxing spot to spend a few days.

The Lodge MIWA ligger i Kyoto. Her er gratis wi-fi og bjergudsigt. Derudover er der en have og en terrasse. Incredible location and the serenity is real. A true Japanese experience, with a lovely village setting. Absolutely loved it. The smell of the amazing wood in the bath room was a highlight. All the things you need to cook and live for the few days you are there. Highly recommend. Worth the drive out of Kyoto to experience the city but stay away from the hustle and bustle.

The house is very nice, traditionally looking but spacious enough, with the bathtub kind of outdoors like an onsen. Location is right next to Nijo castle, easy to get to and from, and there is a convenient store and supermarket nearby. The host explained everything about the house and the place had everything that is to be needed.
