Wish we could've stayed more cause we didn't expect it to be so beautiful. Check-in was super easy and I loved the hand written notes with my name on it. Made it very welcoming. Definitely would recommend.

This place truly felt like a dream, with a tranquil river, waterfall, luscious greenery and the faint hum of animals and nature. Our stay in the air conditioned treehouse was exceptional, with futons that, while firmer, offered a uniquely comfortable rest. The seclusion of the spot made it feel like a private slice of paradise. The river and waterfall were so serene that I could spend hours simply relaxing on their sun loungers by the edge. There is also a cafe across the river that is run by a wife and husband duo that is only accessible by walking or driving on a path through a scenic rice paddy. It had sushi, pizza, noodles and more that was delicious and worth trying! The lodge also offers a range of riverside activites such as saunas, bike riding, a fire-pit for evening relaxation, and water rafting. The rafting and the peaceful moments floating in the river were core memories from my stay and a must try!

It was great staying here. A little kitchen with everything you need. Nice morning sun on the terrace, and great beds. We had a great time on the island and we got great recommendations from the hotel. Thanks!

Hokkoma Aso Private cottage 1棟貸しコテージ南阿蘇 là chỗ nghỉ có khu vườn và sân hiên, tọa lạc ở Aso, cách Sân vận động Egao Kenko Kumamoto 35 km, Công viên Suizenji 45 km và Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei 46 km. The cottage was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and if there was something we needed that wasn’t supplied we just had to ask Mayumi the owner.

A lovely house in the wilderness! You have your own private Onsen, both inside and outside which was fantastic. Hence we didn’t manage to rent a car we had to go there with bus and then walk 3 km from closest bus stop. When the staff found out they immediately offered to drive us the next morning and stay another hour in the house to correspond with our bus to Beppu. Very kind and considerate young man. Ideally located, 3 minute walk to bus station. Owner was very helpful and ordered breakfast and lunch packs for our Cedar trail hike to Jomon. The food packs were delivered to our door steps by 4:30 am to be ready for our all day hike.

The small house had everything we needed. A kitchen, large dining area, big bathing room. The was a terrance and the balcony with the view on the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were amazing. Really recommend although you need to rent a car to get there basically but I thing it's a standard if you want to see the island in general ;)
