Hence we didn’t manage to rent a car we had to go there with bus and then walk 3 km from closest bus stop. When the staff found out they immediately offered to drive us the next morning and stay another hour in the house to correspond with our bus to Beppu. Very kind and considerate young man. Thank you, we appreciate it.

It had been such a pleasant experience to stay in this unique cottage, the room is neat and tidy with all facilities in place. We were supposed to be there before 6:00pm the latest but we finally arrived late around 8:30pm as we lost our way. Without getting the electronic toll card (ETC card) from the car company, we were stuck at the toll collection point ( cash is not acceptable), the host was so nice to direct us to find another way out and waited until our late check in. Really appreciate for his kindness. Make your booking at this cottage is a very good choice.
