The place is sourranded by nature and it seems to be in a peaceful little paradise. I would highly recommended to choose this place to stay, it is also close to the city centre (5 min by boda boda). I will come back here for sure!

I loved the place, it’s so special, the staff are nice, they made good food, is very near to the beach and inside the nature.

Distant Relatives is 45km from Malindi Airport and 50 km from Mombasa Airport. Airport shuttles can be arranged for a fee. The staff, food, pool, and location are top notch. Anything you need the staff will help you. The kitchen is very continent for cooking your own meals, with a grocery store not too far away from the hostel. It’s also only 5 minutes walk away from an amazing beach. Also, the dorm beds are out of this world… biggest and comfiest hostel beds I have ever slept on
