The lady (owner) treated us in the best way possibile, she is super nice and kind and ready to face all of our needs. She is also an excellent cooker and she made a delicious dinner and the breakfast is amazing (fruits, pancakes, eggs, muffins etc). The place is sourranded by nature and it seems to be in a peaceful little paradise. I would highly recommended to choose this place to stay, it is also close to the city centre (5 min by boda boda). I will come back here for sure!

The camp sites were charming, secluded sites in the dune forest. The common gardens lovely, with lots of shady places to hang out- and the views over the ocean magnificent. A lovely location. Friendly helpful areas that made one feel at home

Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach area, a restaurant and outdoor pool. Had a great few nights at DR! Really enjoyed the laidback vibe there, and LOVED the eco outside bathrooms!!! Special thanks to Muhammed and the other woman in the bar for making our stay even better 🫶🏼
