Well located just a ten minute walk from a beautiful beach. The chalets are well appointed and very clean. The outside seating area was lovely. It was useful To have a washer dryer and we appreciated the coffee that was left for us to use in the machine!

Owner met us at the gate and was very informative. The little house was very clean and appointed. A good amount of privacy and the private soaking pool was excellent. Screens and AC but no bugs for us anyway. Quiet area very close to center of town with places to eat and beach toys to rent. No neighborhood barking dogs. A restaurant called La Carrera very close by was easily the best place we went to on the whole trip. We went 3 times. As a spoiled American that is picky about food, it would be a go to even at home in the US. Good cellular service.

Located in Cabarete in the Puerto Plata Province Region, 300 metres from Encuentro Beach. I don't usually leave reviews but the staff and service here were just so wonderful. We were traveling with our one-year-old baby and everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cater to us. By the end of our stay every staff member knew our baby's name and would share big smiles and games with him - it was so nice. Even the cleaning and maintenance staff went out of there way to be friendly. Thank you in particular to Noel, Juan Carlos, Angelo, Angie, Marley, and Brandon at Parallel Surf - GEMS! We stayed in a beach bungalow and I would recommend it if you want to be closer to the beach and have a little more privacy.

Mondi Lodge offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and air-conditioned wooden bungalows with fully equipped kitchenettes and free WiFi. Blue Bay Beach is just a 2-minute drive away. We had a wonderful time at Mondi Lodge. Danita and Janine were super welcoming and the place is really nice, quiet and well kept. Breakfast was amazing and really made the difference when starting your day before heading off to the beach. Our kids (5 and 8yo) had a really nice time as well and were always running around the lodge looking for a new animal to discover. Perfect location as well if you want to drive around the island.

This place was awesome for a relaxing getaway. It was cozy and clean, a perfect escape from the city noise. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. I felt so refreshed after my stay. Definitely coming back here again! Included breakfast was great!
