I recently had the pleasure of staying at Manike Lodge, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. This gorgeous property, located near national parks and a 20-minute drive from Sirigiya, offers a serene and peaceful retreat in the heart of Sri Lanka's natural beauty. The brand new spacious rooms at Manike Lodge are simply great. From comfortable beds to well-appointed bathrooms, every aspect of the rooms is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests. One of the main highlights of Manike Lodge is the owner and host, Ishan. He is a true gem and goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have an amazing stay. Ishan is incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything you may need. His warm hospitality and genuine care for his guests make the stay at Manike Lodge truly special. Being near national parks, we had the opportunity to explore the stunning natural beauty of Sri Lanka up close. And with Sirigiya just a short drive away, the convenience of exploring this famous cultural landmark was great. The property itself is quiet, beautiful, and peaceful. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering a serene ambiance, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. I highly recommend staying at Manike Lodge for anyone looking for a truly relaxed experience in Sri Lanka.

Located within a minute walk from Palugaswewa railway station and 4.3 km from Habarana Lake, Bissa Villa offers a private lodge with air conditioning and mosquito net. This area has so much to see and Bissa Villa was an excellent place to come back to each afternoon for a swim and a delicious meal after a busy day of site seeing. We also enjoyed the rural aspect of this slightly out of town location. The hosts were extremely friendly & helpful making it our favourite place to stay on our whole Sri Lankan trip.

We loved the lodges, made 70% of natural product also by the owner himself with photographs taken in national parks which added to the whole safari vibe. The couple were fantastic, offering free walking safari upon arrival and seeing at our door with tray of tea and biscuits after long day on safari. Offering wake up calls (also with tea and biscuits) and fantastic breakfast and lunch on safari and also homemade Sri Lanka dishes for dinner each evening. Food was so tasty and they really put so much effort in to make it special and check that we were happy and had eaten enough. The lodge is clean, has everything you need (very effective air co) and cool bathroom with net at top to look out at nature and surroundings! They also arranged everything in terms of safari trip to Wilpattu and we got to see sloth bears and a lot more! Really loved our stay here. 100% recommend!

I had an amazing stay at Atha Tree House! In the given price range, they provided a free breakfast, which was very delicious. I also ordered dinner, and it was both tasty and great value for money. The highlight of my stay was hearing elephants walking under the treehouse at night—an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend this place for nature lovers.

At 35 Resort oferă cazare cu climatizare în centrul orașului Holambra, la 2,8 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi și la 3,1 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank. Place was beautiful. And the rooms were very clean. Place is owned by a Family and their son runs the resort. Uncle and Aunty were very friendly. The room we bought(for 4 people) is a separate part of the house they live in. But was isolated properly. Eventhough we checked in very late they were very welcoming. We didnt order any food from them so can't evaluate that. Overall a very comforting, secure place. Highly Recommend for a Family or a Group of Friends.❤️

It’s nice and remote in the middle of the jungle. Very quiet and comfortable. The owner was super polite and friendly and made us dinner and breakfast to go.

I believe this guest house is ideal for people doing a Wilpattu Safari: - it is located right next to the park entrance. - it is not luxurious, but who needs a luxurious hotel if you are going to spend the entire day on safari anyway? - the AC worked great, the bed slept well and it has an ensuite shower and toilet. - they were happy to supply lunch and breakfast for the safari, and prepare dinner as well. I ate very well there. - the hostess was very kind and happy to help with questions. - if you are lucky you may already spot some animals from your window! I saw a wild peacock and monkeys. But apparently elephants also sometimes roam through nearby fields.
