Also they arranged for us jeep safari in Minerya national park (as per their advice due to elephant's path) and we saw a lot of those incredible animals. Special thanks to Ravi - family member who speaks very good English and advised us for many things.

Buma is a great host! He helped us organize a safari in Wilpattu National Park in no time. The room is brand new, the bed is comfy (a bit small, but that seems pretty common in Sri Lanka), and the bathroom has good water pressure and hot water. Buma also cooked us a delicious dinner and made fresh mango juice. Before dinner, he took us on a night birdwatching walk, which was really interesting. Highly recommended!

The place is owned by a family living nearby. The guy who mostly took care of us was very helpful, always communicating. He drove us to Sigirya and manage a driver to the Kadulla safari which was very memorable - beautiful day and lots of elephants 😊 Breakfast and dinner made by the family was local and very delicious. Also there was a shy elephant marauding each night around our tree house.

Uncle and Aunty were very friendly. The room we bought(for 4 people) is a separate part of the house they live in. But was isolated properly. Eventhough we checked in very late they were very welcoming. We didnt order any food from them so can't evaluate that. Overall a very comforting, secure place. Highly Recommend for a Family or a Group of Friends.❤️

It is a single mother in charge of her bed and breakfast. Although it is basic It is super clean well maintained. She is adorable and would recommend to stay if you’re not looking for luxury. Provide good breakfast and also provide a tour to take you around for an acceptable price. The driver is her friend and he is super kind. You can spend four hours to visit the ancient city for a really acceptable price Would recommend strongly to do it.

I believe this guest house is ideal for people doing a Wilpattu Safari: - it is located right next to the park entrance. - it is not luxurious, but who needs a luxurious hotel if you are going to spend the entire day on safari anyway? - the AC worked great, the bed slept well and it has an ensuite shower and toilet. - they were happy to supply lunch and breakfast for the safari, and prepare dinner as well. I ate very well there. - the hostess was very kind and happy to help with questions. - if you are lucky you may already spot some animals from your window! I saw a wild peacock and monkeys. But apparently elephants also sometimes roam through nearby fields.
