We stayed in a beautiful little house, everything was new, clean, and smelled fresh – truly exceptional for Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Through the accommodation, we booked a full-day safari in the national park. We had a great jeep just for me, my wife, and our son. The driver was very accommodating, and we saw so much – including leopards (twice!), elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, birds, and more. It was absolutely amazing. After the safari, we enjoyed a barbecue at the resort, which was another unforgettable experience. Thank you – we definitely recommend this place!

Sri Lanka’s traditional dishes at their restaurant were huge and extremely delicious. The hosts are very nice and careful family.

The staff here was incredibly accommodating, they even offered us a late check-out without us needing to ask, which worked out perfectly since we had a morning safari. The room was modern and comfortable, and the pool was a great spot for a refreshing swim. They helped us arrange the safari and thoughtfully prepared breakfast in a bag for us to take along. We also had dinner there, which was delicious. Just a note: the prices for dinner and breakfast were a bit high ($12 and $10 respectively), considering the local cost of living, but it’s understandable since it’s a remote area. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend it. It’s the perfect spot for an unforgettable safari experience!

The property was very clean and colourful and was in a great location. It was near to 4 national parks and next to the beach. The property was very natural and a perfect place to relax after a few days travelling around Sri Lanka.

At the chalet complex, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The way we were welcomed, the location, the cabin, the staff very generous with their time and smile. The food was real good. Very quiet at night, with a nice atmosphere and good options to have dinner by walk. The host, Malinga, was very kind: ready to counsel us and take us to great places. He offers a taxi service, so is a good option to go there from your previous location or go with him to your next destination in your trip.

Opening onto a terrace with garden views, the air-conditioned chalet consists of 1 bedroom. Towels and bed linen are provided in the chalet. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. What a beautiful place to stay. Felt like in a 5 star hotel. Complete privacy, big tropical garden and very humble and gentle host. The lady even sewed my partners torn trousers. The room is very spacious and has a silent AC. There was a lot of thougt put into the decoration, making it truly the tangalle triangle. Breakfast was big and tasty and served on the (triangular) garden table. The house is located outside of tangalle so if proximity to the center is important, this place might not be the right choice. However we spent two nights there and never stepped a foot into the center. Restaurants are located nearby (recommend "hipster cafe" and "fresh lovely food") and the beach is 5min by foot.
