I really think this place should charge you more than they do right now. I didnt expect much before i arrive but it was a super clean room, full of sound of nature at night. Very nice balcony. Angelo was there at 4:45 am to bid a farewell and he was an exceptional host from the beginning. If you are travelling with a budget, dont even think twice and book Tantra Ella Lodge.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything was just perfect!! We have been there for 4 nights. Devaka and his family have been so nice and the food (breakfast & dinner) was really good. Devaka took us to a tea factory which was very interesting and also gave us a lot of helpful tips for the hikes and other stuff to do around. Room was small but had everything, also very confortable beds. The shower was also hot, what is very nice when it‘s a bit colder. The place was perfect, far away from the chaotic Ella but close enough to the train station. Thanks again to Devaka and his family. Highly recommended to stay there!!

We loved the cooking class and the food was amazing. The staff also helped us immensely when we needed to take our son for medical attention. The only thing that was a bit misleading was they told us that they provide a tuk tuk for the local area. We assumed it was included… we assumed wrong and were charged a lot in addition. This was certainly not a deal breaker though - we loved it here. 11/10
