I recently stayed at Fern Hill Cabins in Ella, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my travels in Sri Lanka. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning panoramic view, absolutely perfect for nature lovers and those looking to unwind in peace. One of the standout features is the glass-walled area with a cozy sofa bed inside the cabin. It offers an uninterrupted view of Ella’s iconic train route, and you can even spot the famous Nine Arches Bridge right from the comfort of your room! Watching the train pass through the lush greenery was an unforgettable moment. The breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared, and served with care. Waking up to that view and enjoying a hearty meal made every morning feel special. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. If you're looking for a serene, scenic getaway with a touch of magic, I highly recommend Fern Hill Cabins. I can't wait to return!

We LOVED everything! The view of the bridge and the jungle were absolutely stunning! It was a short walk down to the bridge if you wanted to get on the tracks which was great. The room itself was absolutely perfect. All of the amenities we could have asked for and you could tell it was very new. It was also a short tuk tuk ride into town when we wanted to do some shopping, and our host was so generous to give us a ride when we needed. The family that hosted couldn’t have been any sweeter, and we were so grateful for the time we got to spend there and the opportunity to have met them!!

NETHSARA cottage se află în Ella, la 6,4 km de Podul Demodara Nine Arch, și include vedere la munte, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. The view was beautiful around sunset and in general. The breakfast was fantastic! We even packed some food for the rest of the day. The host was lovely and helped us park and get around. Also, she was helpful with the tuk tuks. Definitely a place to come back to.

We absolutely loved it, I dare say it was our best stay in Sri Lanka. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful (especially if you like birds!), the room is comfortable, the balcony is really enjoyable. But most of all: the owner is a wonderful person, who will go above and beyond to help you and make sure you have a great stay. We hiked from there to Ella's Rock, following the train rail at first and it was really amazing. Thank you so much for this stay!!!

The accommodation and staff were exceptional. We loved the cooking class and the food was amazing. The staff also helped us immensely when we needed to take our son for medical attention. The only thing that was a bit misleading was they told us that they provide a tuk tuk for the local area. We assumed it was included… we assumed wrong and were charged a lot in addition. This was certainly not a deal breaker though - we loved it here. 11/10

Featuring a garden and free WiFi, Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge and Yoga Center is situated in Ella, 3 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. We loved our stay Arana Eco Lodge! The wonderful team made our stay really enjoyable and it was magical to wake up to the sounds of the forest every morning.

Located up a hill, away from very busy Ella town. Cabins are specious, beautiful finished and very clean. We woke up every day to a sunrise which we could admire from our balcony of each cabin. The host is just exceptional! Delicious home cooked breakfast is delivered to your room every morning. We also took a cookery class at the property and were able to enjoy home cooked meal together! 10 out of 10!
