The best part is the excellent location and the host. Anjelo went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He is a very charming guy. It was great to relax on the patio outside the bedroom and read and listen to the birds. A very unique experience. It is easy to walk to Ella for dinner and walk to beautiful areas like Adams Peak and The Nine Arch bridge from Tantra Ella Lodge.

Honestly this was the best place we have stayed since we came to Sri Lanka. The most beautiful views, wonderful and kind hosts who offered us fresh fruit juice upon arrival and helped with everything we needed. We were offered free tuk tuk lifts to and from Ella center. The breakfast was delicious. Clean and big room, comfortable bed and very nice mosquito net! There was even a kettle and an iron. I would definitely go back to this place. AMAZING

We loved out stay at Arawe, it was one of the most pleasant stays in Sri Lanka. The bungalow was beautifully decorated, it’s located near the forest and tea plantations and it’s within walking distance from the city center. The breakfast was excellent. Our daughter loved to play with the friendly dogs and cat, we saw a lot of birds and even fireflies at night.

Featuring a garden and free WiFi, Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge and Yoga Center is situated in Ella, 3 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Very secluded place in the middle of nature! Long steps to get to the room bur worth it. We had a jacuzzi in our room and it was great to use!

Kamal guided us to Diyaluma Falls, and drove us to the Halpewatte Tea Factory, and.. He was incredibly kind, attentive to details, and always made sure we were comfortable. What really stood out was Kamal’s thoughtful planning—he shared invaluable tips to help us avoid crowds and enjoy peaceful moments at each destination. He patiently waited for us, gave us plenty of time to explore, and was never in a rush. His friendly attitude, local insights, and very reasonable pricing made the experience truly memorable. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Ella! At the same time he was not pushing us to anything we did not want to do! We also did the cooking class they offer which was also amazing local experience.
