Highly recommend letting the Wildhideaway team look after you while you visit Wilpattu National Park. The suite was very spacious even for a family of 4. The bathroom was huge and modern with a nice hot water shower. The plunge pool was delightful, so refreshing. Location was so quiet and the air conditioner worked perfectly so made for very comfortable sleep. They arranged our full day safari at a good price, we didn’t need to do anything but turn up. They packed breakfast and lunch for us and then had dinner ready when we came home! The thing that made this place so special was the warm and friendly service from Anta and his team. Always there with a huge smile, making us feel so welcome, and the food they made for us (as vegetarians) was SO delicious, the best we’ve had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka.

Offering free WiFi and an outdoor pool, Twin Waters Resort is situated in Chilaw. Free private parking is available on site. All units have a satellite flat-screen TV. Edward and his family were the gentlest of people who cared so much about our stay and comfort. Nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is sensational bordered on one side by a lake full of wildlife and on the other by the sea with a beautiful and very empty beach. Dinner was delicious and my wife still raves about her curry. Fully recommend...

The individual attention and a caring team made us feel very special. Secluded, overlooking paddy fields. Delicious and authentic Sri Lankan food. Ranil and his team undertook one of the largest study of Sloth Bears so they know a thing or two when it came to the safari. We spent a day ticking off the most wonderful array of wildlife. We were here as a family and couldn’t be more happy.
