Many birds singing in the morning and everting. You could even see a monkey swinging on the nearby tree :) We were welcomed with a cold juice. The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. The dinner was one of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. Delicious homemade rice & curry. The same thing for breakfast, really tasty. In our room we had a kettle, tea, coffee and a bottle of water. We were just passing through Udawalawa, but would definitely spend more time in Wild River Side if we could :) Thank you!

I was impressed by all of the staff within the hotel, even when i asked if they could organize hiring a vehicle for the evening they were able to arrange everything. SUPERB hotel with many facilities. Very clean throughout and service provided was excellent. surely my next visit will end with the safari with this hotel.

This is an incredible place. Amazing safari organized. Comfortable rooms, amazing, organic food which was some of the best I had in Sri Lanka, and gorgeous plants and gardens. We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.

It was great to meet him and to know a bit more about his life and the place. He made all the decoration himself and everything is very original. The place had everything we needed, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Also very affordable. Michael can propose you some affordable safari tours if you ask him. Thank you for your hospitality
