You can also book a safari through them. We had the pleasure of staying at their newest tent (they currently have 3 of them and some lodges). The tent is very large offers everything you need, there’s a fan, lots of wall sockets, two beds, water cooker and a bathroom attached. There’s no warm water, but you will need the cool shower :) the climate is always hot and humid. Sleeping in the tent at night with the blinds open was very comfortable. Also, there’s lots of peacocks around, it is a joy to watch them from the tent. They recently completed a new area for breakfast which looks fantastic and is very spacious. Everything around the place felt very high-class, which we did not expect, especially at this price point. The staff was extremely attentive and adjusted to your needs (e.g. breakfast time for safari). We felt like in a 5-star hotel :)

Guests can relax in the garden at the property. Wadula Safari was amazing. We were greeted by the friendliest staff, taken for a walk around the jungle (where we saw monkeys, all kinds of birds, and lizards), and then served a delicious dinner. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with amenities like coffee, tea, powerful AC and a modern bathroom. They also arranged a wonderful safari with a guide, and helped us speak with and find our taxi driver.

We really enjoyed the safari organised by the hotel, it was good value and well worth paying a little extra for the guide. Also enjoyed the boat ride on the lake next to the properly.

They also helped us to find the driver to our next stop in Sri Lanka. Danushka - he was the best driver we had in Sri Lanka. 100% recommended.

Peacefull place with very kind and helpfull people take care of you. Lots of animals around, monkeys jumping on the trees ( but not disturbing) peacocks running, squirrels etc The food is very good - u have to try breakfast and dinner. Hightly recommend

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome. They gave us a welcome drink and gave us a tour of the establishment. We also got some delicious, freshly prepared cuisine at Green Nest Yala. It was so serene here that I wish we had remained more than one night.

Accessible via private entrance, all units have air conditioning, soundproofing, desk and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. A terrace with an outdoor dining area and lake views is offered in every unit. At the chalet complex, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Fantastic location for peace and quiet, being positioned down a sandy track and next to a lake, teeming with wildlife. A metal fence kept any crocodiles away. Laksi was a marvelous host and made us so welcome. Very spacious rooms with a good hot shower. Pool was also very soothing. Not many restaurants nearby so we ate with the hosts, all good value and filling. Laksi arranged a half day safari. The driver was great and we saw a sleeping leopard and loads of elephants and crocodiles plus so many birds. Expensive but worth it. Very friendly cats.
