It is right next to a lake with water buffalo in it. There are heaps of birds including peacocks and hornbills in the garden plus lots of monkeys, squirrels and lizards around. The garden is huge with mature trees and plenty of space. You can walk beside the lake and do a little exploring, really nice at sun rise or sunset. The swimming pool was excellent for a bit of relaxing. Anne and Amal were fantastic hosts answering all our questions and organizing our safari and other activities. I recommend having Amal on your safari. He is full of info and has a big camera lens to get those close ups the cellphones can't do. Their safaris go into block 5 and 6 which are a lot quieter ( in terms of jeep numbers) than the main Yala block 1. We saw elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birds, and 2 leopards. Also if you have the chance to have dinner and bonfire down by the lake shore then do it, we got lucky with a stunning night and full moon rising. The food, including breakfast was really good. If you are looking for somewhere to relax with nature then this is it.

Wonderful stay with all the comforts necessary. Huge spacious rooms and fabulous food. Owner had even helped us arrange a safari for a reasonable price.

The property is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings, walk ways, and perfectly appointed rooms in separate cabins. But most notably is the quality and the warmth of the team, led by Mr Hadley. The level of service and communication is truly superior and we always felt at home. They spared nothing to ensure we were comfortable, active, well fed and in great company. Really, thank you.

Couldn’t speak strong English but always went above and beyond to make my partner and I feel welcome and comfortable. Sad to leave this place

The family and Stuff are super lovely and caring. We had a campfire, played games and enjoyed the noices of the animals. The rooms are easy but clean & comfortablE. We also booked our Yala safari with them and were lucky to see elefants, leopard etc. All in all we highly recommand to stay at this place!
