Ali, the manager of this hotel, and his team are very attentive. Here you can experience an unprecedented travel experience, ride a camel into the desert, experience the shuttle among the sand dunes, ride a four-wheel drive vehicle like a boat at sunset, travel through the sea of sand, reach the depths of the desert to watch the sun climb down the sand dunes, and at night Ali and his team will light a bonfire and lead everyone to play African drums under the stars. Thank you for your service. This is Africa.
We liked it a lot. Yussef, the driver, picked us up and we had a wild drive over the Dunes into the camp. The food was very delicious, Ismail, the cook, was great and we had nice lessons how to cook Tajine and a great time with him and Aziz. The Jeeptour the next day was interesting and Yussef did his best to fullfill all our wishes. He is a very experienced driver. Moreover, we enyojed the drums at the fireplace. We felt safe and comfortable all the time. Thanks to everybody.
The food was original, homemade, very tasty, also in excessive quantities. Small break we had was used by the hosts to offer us tea and tell a story about their ordinary desert life. We especially like bread and pancakes offered. The warm welcome, the kindness of the host Mohamed and his associates, excellent accommodation, staying in a typical desert hut, and everything else, such as the possibility of doing laundry, which we could not even do in hotels.
They are prompt and reliable picking me up at the Errachidia Airport when I arrived around midnight. I notified them in advance and they had a shuttle waiting for me and the driver standing waiting with my name on a card. Complimentary but tips are welcome and well-deserved. Great location close to the airport!
Superior team. Tasty food. Shuttle service. Helpful guidence. Large room areas.
We booked this camp after booking and canceling other camp due hidden extras. This camp also offers activités, but the shuttle is free. The camp was small and quiet, surrounded by the dunes. The staff were helpful, friendly and always there if you need something. The food was delicious BUT there was a lot.
- Free/included 4x4 shuttle to the camp - excellent staff - delicious 4-course dinner (be warned! You’ll be full after the 1st course but there’ll be 3 more :D ) - other camps not in direct sight so you feel more alone in the sand dunes ;) - lovely drums/music by the bonfire - they’re happy to organise camel rides, quads etc for you. And Hassan our Camel guide was super nice - spacious rooms, absolutely comfortable bed
