We loved our time here! First of all, amazing location and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and villages. Everyone was so welcoming and we were made to feel right at home. Dinners were hearty and cozy (vegetarian options available) and breakfasts were enough to fill you for a day of exploring. We came just after a very large snow storm and couldn’t park our car at the Riad, so a local shop owner helped dig us out a spot on the main road. It was very cold during our time there but the rooms have a heater and extra blankets are provided. Water pressure is STRONG and thankfully, warm. Overall, amazing stay!

This place is so great and shouldn't be missed as a chance to get some downtime from the craziness of Marrakesh. We stayed for three nights with our two teenagers and were very very comfortable. The Lodge features gorgeous views, made to order (you choose from an extensive menu) yummy meals, and wonderful staff that arrange everything. We stayed during a cold snap and we were still cozy and warm at night so don't let the weather forecast deter you-- during the day it heats up nicely for hikes and reading a book in the sun. The hike with Mohamed was amazing-- he is so humble despite losing his home in the terrible earthquake. The Ecolodge staff arranged transport to and from the lodge as well as a guided hike and diy hamam. We loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. Previous reviews said that you need a car but that is simply not true.

Amazing place with the coolest staff! We enjoyed every little thing here - comfortable clean room with the desert sunrise view through the windows, delicious dinner and breakfast at the rooftop terrace (which is btw accessible 24/7 which is perfect spot for stargazing or the sunrise/sunset views) and the excellent staff who were super friendly and helpful, ensuring the best possible service for us. The road to the place is quite good, new asphalt segment at the beginning of the desert, so only few km left with the gravel road which was also easily doable with the simple car. They also offer quads if you’re interested. Be aware they don’t accept card payments, so be prepared to have cash with yourself.
