It is very calm and quiet, we spent ours swimming with our kids and just looking at the birds. The cabin is spacious and nice, beds are comfy. We loved the design. There is a coffee machine and a refrigerator which was super helpful since there is no restaurant. But you can get good food in the guest house next door. Bear in mind it is about a 10 min drive to the town which we did about twice a day, for food, groceries or attractions. The staff was super nice. We would definitely come again!

It was easy to get to and from there you can walk to different places in Bacalar. Also, the communication with the host was very good so no issues to check in or out.

Cute set up in room. You get your own fridge and coffee maker. It’s truly perfect and super affordable. We felt so safe! Andrea was so helpful and answered my million questions. Truly one of my favorite places now! Tip tier! This was my first air bnb experience and I am so happy!

Breakfast was delicious and she made pancakes for the children even though they weren’t on the menu! They were very attentive and so relaxed. Thank you for welcome us.

On the patio there are many different chairs and sunbeds. The common kitchen has everything you need. Convenient location, compared to other hotels and in the depths of the jungle. We would definitely come back to this place!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The stay at Cielo y Selva was absolutely amazing. The beachside location is stunning, though the road to get there is quite rugged. However, I highly recommend opting for the boat ride—it's a much smoother and faster alternative. Once you arrive, the place is perfect for unwinding. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. It’s the ideal place to relax and escape, with every detail contributing to a truly memorable experience. If you are planning on going, i recommend minimum 2 nights.
