The atmosphere and the traditional Malay house. The staff were amazing, helping us with everything. Such a wonderful place, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the nature.

It is a 4-minute drive from Pantai Cenang, a 15-minute drive from Langkawi Airport and a 30-minute drive from Kuah Town. This property is entirely unique. A stone’s throw from bustling Pantai Tengah, it is amazing how detached you can feel from the rest of the world when nestled in your canopy up in the rainforest. I came here for much needed relaxation after lots of travel, and Ambong delivered! It was so serene to sit on my terrace overlooking the distant water, watching the hornbills and monkeys. Breakfast was delicious and I also enjoyed dinner both nights at the Rimba restaurant. I also enjoyed a massage at the spa, and highly recommend it! The real cream of this experience was the staff who were so very kind and attentive. I will be back!
