Balik Pulau isn't the heart of Penang tourism but if one is looking for an off-the-beaten track experience in Penang, then this is it.
Super rustic, it is a wonderful place to hike, bike and explore the plantations and the hills.
Located in the heart of Balik Pulau, de Village is a no-frills homestay that meets the needs of an adventurer.
With two food courts right outside and an host of other eateries along the main road, this is a good jumping point to explore the area.
A 24 hour self-service laundromat across the main road makes it convenient for those travelling light. A convenience store next to the homestay is great if you need to resupply.

The location was just beautiful. High in the hills, peaceful and secluded. Beautiful views. Lovely pool and the plants and landscaping was gorgeous. The bungalow rooms were perfect and beautiful. Loved all the frosted coloured glass. Lots of different places to sit and relax.

The location is very close to Penang National Park and the beach. It is also around 4 minutes drive away from Escape Penang. The acommodation is a double storey detached cute little house. You'll get the whole house to yourself. The host lives just nextdoor so it is very convenient to check in. The house has everything that you'll need for a short stay. There is a double bed upstairs and a pull out sofa bed downstairs so it can conveniently acommodate 4 adults. There's also a small sofa bed/bench kind of thing downstairs that can acommodate a child. The balcony is also rather spacious. You can park the car just next to the acommodation.

Lovely and clean, pool was a bonus to chill off after a day out plenty of room for 4. About 5 mins from Ao nang in a Tuk Tuk and 10/15 minute walk. The beach is 5 mins away and there are plenty of places to eat within a 2 minute walk

Everthing is perfect, definitely worth to stay here at least a week! Enjoy a whole log cabinet, which is amazing. You will never want to miss this fascinating place!! But notice you don't book from this plateform, caz they charge you the tourism tax but they didn't give to the hotel. So there is a double charge, maybe you should bool through Agoda or whatnot.
